After the success of Les Hardings and its unforgettable trio, Alexia Bürger presents her latest creation : Visages. By assembling a fresco of small and bigger true stories, each narrative uncovers a bouquet of questions around our relation to the face : Is it a mask or a mirror ? We meet with a Vladimir Putin lookalike, ironically an activist for the Ukranian cause. We get anxious for a man who suffers from a disease which deforms the faces of his friends and family. We travel with a woman to her drawing class in Florence, Italy. Sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, this magnetic cast completely abandons itself in this game of de-multiplication and erasing of the self.
