The Art Hive
The Art Hive—a free creative space open to the entire community—opens its doors to you.
Come discover this site of socio-community engagement, where artistic creation is an integral part of daily life—not as an aesthetic end in itself, but as a living process of regulation, resilience, and reconnection with oneself and others.
The visit will be followed by a participatory roundtable discussion exploring art as a tool for intervention, mediation, and social transformation, highlighting the foundations of the creative process in contexts of vulnerability, social diversity, and care.
This activity invites the public to rethink the notion of the performing arts by shifting it from the stage to everyday reality: living through art, within a space of beauty, connection, and human presence.

The event brings together three artists with inspiring paths who are involved with the Art Hive—Stacy, Caroline, and Jonathan. Their discussion will be guided and enriched by Gabriel Wagner and Julie Tremblay, respectively coordinator of Espace Sherpa and sociocultural facilitator at Espace Sherpa.
Espace Sherpa is a living and socio-community intervention space run by PECH, an organization based in Quebec City that works with individuals experiencing situations of vulnerability, particularly related to mental health, homelessness, or social isolation. Located in downtown Quebec City, Sherpa is an open space for the entire community that fosters social diversity, connection, and mutual support. It offers a range of activities and forms of accompaniment aimed at supporting well-being, social participation, and the development of meaningful relationships.
The Art Hive at Espace Sherpa is a free and accessible creative space open to all, where the artistic process is foregrounded as a tool for expression, regulation, and connection. Creation takes place in a caring environment, without expectations of artistic performance, emphasizing exploration, sharing, and presence to oneself and others.
