Introduction to creative accessibility
Conference open to all
Mandatory reservation for the training afterwards in the afternoon
This conference and training are mostly directed at the cultural community
Everyone should have access to theatre and culture.
However, performing arts adapted for people with functionnal diversity is too rare. To change this reality, universal accessibility must be thought about from the very beginning and included in the creative process, not as an last minute afterthought.
It may seem intimidating to know where to begin to make truly accessible art without taking away its essence. Through this conference-discussion, we will talk about the basics of creative accessibility as well as the essential notions to make truly inclusive steps, attentive to the reality and needs of diverse communities.
