This is the year 1080 BC, during the infamous Trojan War…Tro-is-Rivières War? An exhilarating wrestling match is the stage to Agamemnon’s quest to get his wrestling belt back, the Légion Nationale belt. Hilaire St-Laurent adapts the classic Greek myth, mixing alexandrines and québécois dialect, catchy opera-rock songs and spectacular stage fights. The audience is invited to make noise and scream for their favorite wrestler, whether it is Achille, Eugénie, Ménélas or the Trois-Rivières evil trio. It is indeed a Greek tragedy, but you will struggle to catch your breath in between fits of laughter.
A theatrical overflow absolutely epic and scrumptious! This show is, in our humble opinion, incomparable. From the start, we dive head first into this universe where québécois alexandrines is an acquired skill and choreographies are insane. Moreover, with a cast of 12 performers, the entire stage is set afire and we embark without a shadow of a doubt into this world, skillfully juggling Greek tragedy and professional wrestling gala.
